Today was all Olympic lifting, well just the snatch lift and variations of it. I did not have a real plan as I walked in today, though I did know a few things. I would not do more than 5 reps per set, and I would snatch, the rest was by feel.
I started with hang snatch
then I moved to a few sets of power snatch
and finished with one arm snatches
For the one arm snatch I used the womens barbell because it is shorter making it easier to balance.
The snatch is a great exercise, it requires great amounts of power and coordination providing an excellent full body movement. With the longer rest and light weight I still came out of the gym soaked, and it was not because of the temperature.
