Heavy chest from Tue

Weight Training

"Heavy" Chest

Tue PM

This is day 2 of my new 6 week cycle.

Bench
Rest - 2:30
335 x 1, x1
315 x 3, x 2, x 2
Things did not go the way they should, yhe weight was heavy today so I decided not to push it. The 2 lifts at 335 were uguly so I decided not to go any heavier.

Close Grip Bench
5 - 245 x 4
Rest - 1:30
On the last 2 sets I was only able to get 3 reps for each.

Ring Dips
5 - BW x Max
Rest - :45
x8, x7, x6, x6, x5
Again I was surprised at how hard these are. I do think that they will get easy fast. As I get use to the movement and the stablizers start to get stronger I will be close to the reps and weight I use on the dip bar.

Seated Rows - Wide Grip
5 - 230 x 3
Rest - 2:00
It was easy to get all reps. I kept the weight and reps low to make sure I did the exercise without a cheat. At this weight and rep I was able to do them the way that is best at building a strong back.

Curls
5 - 95 x Max
Rest - :45
x10, x8, x8, x6, x7
I hate these for some reason, maybe it is the burn they give. I have to say I do like the pump they give.

All the best in your weight and programs.
Jason
