I had a rugby game after my leg workout. That was not a good idea on my behalf. As I write this I can feel the legs cramp up.
I started off with DE box squats off a 8" box.
12 - 155 x 2
Rest - :45
This box is just too dep for me. The weight is not heavy but I cannot hold things together when I get that deep. I need to do more work on my flexiblity.
I then moved onto something new. Static contraction squats.
5 - 515 x 7seconds
Rest - 2:00
With these I would squat down about 6" and hold it there for 7 seconds. This is new to me and I am not sure if it will work but I will try for the next few weeks.
I will speak on static contractions and my new weight training cycle in the next few days.
