Sorry everyone

For all the regular readers I would like to say sorry. I have to apologize for my lack of recent posts. Things have been quite hectic for me as of late. I have recently started to study for my Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification. CSCS certification is for professionals who design and implement strength training and conditioning programs for athletes in a team setting. Currently this is the only nationally accredited certification that is specifically designed to assess competencies of those who strength train and condition athletes. The certification is through The National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) an international non-profit educational association founded in 1978.

I have been lucky that I have been able to apply my knowledge with a local team. I am currently conditioning the Traverses Bay Blues Rugby team as they prepare for a run at the national title this March. If anyone is interested in any work I do with the team let me know and I will be happy to share our workouts.

I also get to do a little personal training. PT is so very different than the training with the rugby team. It is nice to have experience with both.

In addition to those activities I have to get my own weight training in so as you can see I am a little busy. I will make a solid effort to keeps my posts regular and informative.

All the best in your weight training, powerlifting, and bodybuilding, programs.
Jason
