Powerlifting day for My Legs

Weight Training

LEGS
- Size and Power Phase -




Sat 10 AM

Box Squats
8 - 225 x 2
Rest - :45
These were done as fast as posible. On some I had enough power off the box that I was able to get off the ground. The bax today was not all that deep but it was still a full squat.

Sumo Deadlifts
405 x 3, x 3,
385 x 3, x3, x3
Rest - 2:00
I started with the 405 but my back did not stay straight and I started to lift with the back and not the hips and legs. I did not want to use a belt so I lowered the weight to make sure I used proper form. Here are 2 shots of me doing a rep at 405. As you can see one picture is the start of the pull and the second is close to the end of the lift.


End with Ploys.

Thanks Gord, things feel good. Even though my last 3 lifts at 405 were not perfect I do feel as though I am getting stronger. Thank you for the positive comments on your site with respect to the last bench workout. You had some good numbers there.
