A chest and Tricep workout

Sunday AM

Bench
5 - 295 x 5
Rest - 2:00
I only got 5 reps on my first set. I did not have a spot so I thought it best not to push it and get stuck under the bar. I did not have any prolbems with 4 reps but thought the fifth just may be a struggle.

Decline Smith Press
5 - 260 x Max (up to 12)
Rest - :45
x12, x10, x6, x7, x7

Close Grip Bench
5 - 225 x 5
Rest - 2:00
x5, x4, x5, x4, x4

Incline Dumbell Press
5 - 70 x max, up to 12
Rest - :45

x8, x 8, x 6, x 6, x6
These were done with palme in a netural grip, facing each other.

Dips
5 - BW x Max
Rest - :45
X16, x 15, x12, x16, x11

This was a hard workout, my arms were about to fall off.

Hey Jason, I been reading your blog for a while. Have you ever tried a method of training called Static Contraction? I just posted an article about it on my blog (http://sethigherstandards.com/) and wonder if you have either tried it or know anyone who has?

Sorry Ravi, I have not done any static contraction training or even know anyone that has. I think it may help the nervous system when you use heavy loads.
