Legs and traps- weight training / powerlifting


Sumo Deadlift
4 - 315 x 5, 315 x 10
Rest - 1:45
These were way too easy. I need to add more weight next time. There is no way I should be able to pull 10 reps on my last set.

Compound set GM to Hyper Ext
GM - 135lbs
x 10, x 8, x 6, x 7
Hyper Ext - BW
x 16, x 14, x 16, x 16
Rest - 1:00

This makes for a hard set. It is hard to stand straight after the hyper ext.

Shrugs
5 - 315 x 10
Rest - :45
Thelast reps on the last sets were not perfect, at least the weight moved.

Up right row on x over with rope
#12 x 6, #11 x 6, #10 x 7, #9 x 9, #8 x 10, #7 x 20
Rest - :30

Thanks for the post and I hope you enjoyed the site. I do not compete I just enjoy lifting. I play rugby and try to keep in shape for that. I also am getting ready to write my CSCS test and feel if I will teach others I have to make sure I can hold my own in the gym.
