Static Contraction Training - Week 4 Day 2

Squat
895 x 13 seconds
The weight is now heavy. As with most of the other lifts the hard part is to get the weight into position. This is too much weight for me to unrack and take a step backwards. I have to do a quarter squat off the saftey bars first. This takes a lot out of me.

SL Deadlift
455 x 20 seconds
I find this does a great job on the low back and hamstrings

Shrug
545 x 13 sec.
I think I will do this weight again because I am not sure there is enough of a shroug there. I have to make sure it is a shrug not just hanging there.

Bicep Curls
185 x 10 seconds
I feel that the best contraction on the biceps is at the bottom of the curl, not the top.

Close Grip Bench
365 x 20 sec
I had someone help me put it into place so this lift was a piece of cake today.

Heal Raise
400 x 20 sec
Too easy may have to seated raises.
