Tue workout 2 - Legs

Weight Training

"Strength" Legs




I had a chance to workout with a few friends so i took it. Even though it was the second workout of the day I get a much better workout when I am with others I hate to pass it up. The other 2 are rugby players so they wanted to focus on a little more strength. I have not done heavy full rep work for some time so I was a little weak.

Squats
2 - 365 x 5
Rest - 3:00
I Still have trouble getting as deep as I should, these were not bad but nor were they good.

Leg Press
Rest - 3:00
2 - 900 x 5
I do not think the weight means much here as all leg presses are different and it is not a squat. I could feel these in the quads.

SL Deadlift
2 - 315 x 5
Rest - 3:45
I have never used more than 225 for these in the past. I am no sure if this lift is a good strength builder or just a good stretch.

Prone Leg Curls
2 - ? x 5
Rest - 2:45
Not sure what the weight was. I bench was on an angle so more weight could be used as compared to a flat bench.
